Tas Excellence Awards

2011 NECA Tasmania Excellence and Apprentice Awards

The Awards will be announced at a prestigious industry event to be held on Saturday 6 August 2011 at Tattersalls Park in Elwick. Winners in each national award category from Tasmania are then automatically entered into the 2011 National Excellence Awards.

The NECA Tasmania Excellence Awards are open to all current members of the Association and it is pleasing to note that a Tasmania member won the top national prize in 2010.

These Awards provide a rare opportunity for members to showcase their best projects to their peers, to industry and government and to the wider community. They are the ultimate platform for the best in electrical and communications projects in Australia, highlighting the winners’ technical innovation, safety record and management expertise in bringing home the job on-time and on-budget, and above the client’s expectations.

About the Awards

Nominations are firstly entered into the relevant NECA State Excellence Awards. The winners of the State Excellence Awards are presented at functions held in each state, on various dates from July through to September each year.

The winners of the Tasmania Excellence Awards are then automatically eligible to win the National Excellence Award in their category. A National Excellence Awards dinner to announce the national winners is held in November each year, alternating between Sydney and Melbourne. In 2011, the event will be held in Melbourne.
